So i have a pre-build dell computer. Im wondering if I could take all my components out of the case, and put it in a new case with a gtx 1060.

Depends really. What is your new case? What are the components you wish to take out of your old system? Some things may not be compatiable with your new case. I can help you with this anyways, hmu on Skype.

Would you mind linking us to your current system?

The main issue with prebuilt systems is that many of them tend to have unusually sized motherboards to force customers into keeping it in the same case. You can however measure the motherboard to figure this out rather easily.

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask!

It would appear that your motherboard is Micro - ATX and should fit in any Micro-ATX + Case.

If you would like, I can put together a recommended upgrade list. =)
sure! try to keep it under $500.

- To upgrade your processor

- OS ~$40 on Kinguin

About your Motherboard and the I7 Upgrade - I am not positive that it will support that chip. I am relatively sure but it would be advised that you do some research about it online.

Alternate Upgrade. You would keep your processor and put that money towards a better graphics card / an SSD.

Or a display port monitor. What other peripherals will be needed?

What type of monitor are you using right now?

Blue tends to mean VGA.[DOUBLEPOST=1479868557][/DOUBLEPOST]Here is another build. I still added a small SSD to install your OS. With this expect boot times less than 15 seconds.

As long as it fits in your current case, just the 1060 and a new power supply.

Any way to know if it fits my case?
On the specs page of the GPU (GTX 1060) it will have a length. Using that length you can measure the distance in your case.

my motherboard is a Dell 0nw73c. Will this work with a GTX 1060? I've ordered a new case (found on pcpartpicker) and the power supply. I just need to know if my motherboard will work with the 1060.

It will.

Did you determine the motherboards size before ordering the case?
