Hello,

So, I have a 2,000 budget for a pc. However, I need some help coming up with the rest of the parts e.g motherboard. If someone could please reply would be so greatful.

This is what I have so far.

32GB DDR4 Ram
Nvidia Gtx 1080
Intel core i7-8700k

Yes, this pc will be an overkill.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xztvYT This has the parts you already have + it's under your budget
You can get the operating system from rexs123
Thank you will try and get it a little cheaper / edit a few parts.

So im going to start this simply.
1. You dont need 32GB of ram unless you plan on running software like VMWare constantly (Not sure of what reasons you think you need anymore than 16.
2. GTX 1080 is nice, however not needed. If you only plan on games like GTA you can run them just fine with a 1060. If you want to run most games well. I would recommend something like a 6GB 1070
3. Once again i7 is not needed. in general intel is super expensive, AMD is much cheaper and the main difference is single core speeds. But you can get an AMD 1600 for like 200 (Would have to change your build a little bit like a different MB to ensure it is compatible with AMD)
4. As for your current plan I have to ask if you plan on streaming. If you want to stream this is a really nice build for it. However, you dont need anything of this tier unless you plan on things such as Video editing or Streaming. As I can record games on my 1060 i5 4570 that I currently run as a budget PC.
5. Based off what you are mentioning (Games like GTA) I would recommend a build like this
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.6GHz
ASUS X370-F
TridentZ 16GB DDR4 Ram(RGB Optional)
Seagate 1TB Drive (1 or 2)
Any 250GB SSD (Use for OS only)
Gigabyte GTX1070 8GB
EVGA 650Watt Bronze power supply
Case(Just something I thought looked nice)
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139120&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

This is just what I think, in the end this build is about $1240 (This only includes main components, dont forget about extra case fans(3 nice fans will be about $55), Windows 10(~$100), Thermal Paste (~$9-$10), and a CPU Cooler (~$50-$60), and if you are set on the 32GB of ram add about $160
Hope this helped! Good luck on the build

Hello,
Thanks for everything you have said, However, sometimes in life you get things that are more powerful because you just want pretty much like here.

Yep, as I said just my personal recommendation for a PC that would reach the recommended specs for almost every game. I just feel the 32 ram is overkill. But if you need the PC for rendering video and what-not a high-quality processor and lots of RAM can go a long way!
