I'm trying to gather the best parts for a gaming PC and I definitely need help here. Budget doesn't matter, I just want the best of the best out of each part.

You're rightPlease do not buy RTX. It’s a waste of money because no games at the moment support retracing, or SLI. Buying a card in hopes games will migrate and add retracing won’t be for a long time. RTX is a waste, and overly expensive. You’re basically just paying fo the brand at that point.
Damn that 1080 is $800... I got my 1080 for $300There are plentiful ways to get a good/decent PC for cheap. Most recently I was searching through Craigslist and Facebook and I purchased my newest PC for only $600. This computer is normally valued at $1400+, excluding the case.
