Hey there,

I got a bad computer at my parents house, and I was thinking about maybe upgrading it a bit. The first thing I'm going to need is a SSD, then maybe a graphics card. I'd like to keep it cheap (don't need high end parts), since I don't use this computer too often.

CPU - Intel Pentium G3240 3.10GHz
RAM - 8GB DDR3 700MHz
MB - ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. B85M-G (LGA-1150 socket)
GPU - AMD Radeon R9 280 Sapphire 3GB
HDD - 2 useless harddrives.
as I said, it's shit

nothing more than League of Legends or CSGO. I can already run Minecraft ish
a gtx 1050 ti would do the job, best budget graphics card, I bought it like 1 month ago and I am more than satisfied (I used to play fortnite and I play csgo nowadays, is really nice for the price).

You could add an i3-8100 3.4ghz, will run most of the games at 60 fps 1080p if it is mixed with a 1050 ti.

Kappa it is worth the money because it does not cost that much unlike any other gaming parts but this combination can run a lot of games at 60fps 1080p and does not cost that much like the other ones.

Wait for cyber monday. You will probably be able to pick out an ssd + cpu for around $100. Keep your eyes on NewEgg and Amazon.
