Hello! I'm having an issue with my computer. My ssd was only 120gb so I went to transfer my SSD files to my HDD 1tb by using a software which copys all the files over. I then wanted to clean not wipe but just clean the files I didn't need in the SSD but all the programs and things I have done have not cleaned it enough. Now my HDD is my C drive and my SSD is the D drive. If I try to save a file I have to open it up as a admin then save the file I cant just save it in C drive without opening it as it says I need to be an admin even though I am. I now try to search for files for example Sony Vegas editing software and “minecraft password” a file with my mc password and both of them cant be found anymore but I can find things like notepad++ etc. I tried to do a full reset and that had an error... Here are some screenshots of my C and D drive.

So I take it your SSD was your Windows Boot drive, and your HDD was a storage drive? Then you wanted to take your program files from your SSD and place them on your HDD storage drive?

Okay, so now it looks like we have your Windows directory installed on both drives. Do you know which drive your computer actually boots off of when it starts up? Is the SSD still recognized as C or have they flipped?

The issue with finding programs now is going to be the fact that all your shortcuts (start menu, desktop, etc) is going to point to the drive where the program was originally installed and not where the program files were migrated to.

Originally yes my SSD was the boot and HDD was my programs files etc but there were still programs files also on the SSD. The SDD and HDD have flipped letter so HDD is C and SSD is D (To see what it drive it boots up I will have to restart my pc and go into the bios which I will do in a bit)

Thanks for checking bios. That will help me determine the plan of attack.
