Connecting a minecraft server to a domain but using the same for my website.

Hello, I have a domain in which i have my website connected, mc-battles.comI wanna know how can I connect the same domain for my server that i have here. I added as i saw a tutorial an A record on DNS records and then an SRV record but i might have done something wrong, cause when i use the domain to connect to mc it is not working. Thanks in advance

You have a few options:

You can create an 'A' Record, pointing a subdomain to the gameserver (like play, game, or mc as those are popular). This would look like SUBDOMAIN.mc-battles.com.

You can also create an 'SRV' record if the website and gameserver are hosted on the same system. An SRV record will simply allocate specific requests to specific services being hosted. This will allow you to use the root domain (mc-battles.com) for both the gameserver and website.
