Just checked this. It is not possible to send emails purely with JavaScript. Its PHP.
Feel free to hmu if you want it done, a basic one can be done in 10 minutes.

You're comparing client-side js with php. You can send emails using nodejs with nodemailer, which happens to be 100% javascript.
Ah my bad. Made a judgment entirely by myself (I am not much of a web developer) without contacting my developer and possibly might have spouted something which made me look dumb. At least I learned from that. :3That contact form is Contact Form 7 which is a plugin in WordPress
However it is true that he is proficient with Javascript (he has 4 years of Java programming knowledge).
Fair enough, you might want to watch out for that dev then as if they said they made that form it does not sound like a good developer.
