I like using plancke to see if they are active on hypixel. Or just any popular server websites that track what and when they play.

Sadly the ign has never logged onto hypixel before. Are these the only methods to find the owner of the ign?

No. There are sites that track activity but most of time they arent accurate. Chances are they are inactive. Also, on namemc u can check when they've change their skin.
