Seeking lore/content writer
This is for paid work as a lore and content/quest creation writer. You’ll be expected to write compelling and interactive quests with multi-part arching storylines.
We have the tools to create any custom item you would need that fits your story. Our quest creation tools has very few limitations. Quests can have multiple choice questions that have a different outcome depending on the choices you make.
Our world consists of multiple npc towns throughout the world and you are encouraged to create new locations within your quest storylines.
You have the freedom to create new characters that we can add to our world that are part of your storylines. We also have over 60 custom mobs that can be used within your story creations.
Keep in mind
We’re not looking for simple “fetch” quests as in, go kill this mob and bring back this item or go here and get this item and bring it back. We’re looking for engaging storylines that provide plenty of content for the quester.
We will take your storylines and create them with our quest creator
Requirements
- You’ll need to provide samples of your writing ability.
- Your quests will need to be reviewed and approved before payment is made.
$15 per engaging storyline quests
Basic Example:
This is a very basic example and in no way reflects the amount of detail we are looking for in our quests.
- NPC: Can you help me?
- Player: What do you need?
- NPC: My daughter was kidnapped by some goblin scouts, can you go find her and bring her back to me?
- Player: I can do this!
- Player: Where did they take her?
- NPC: I heard one of them say they were heading north beyond the misty mountains.
- Player: What are goblin scouts?
- NPC: Small, green, slimy creatures, have you not seen them?
- Player: I never heard of them, how dangerous are they?
- NPC: Carl from Snowyriver killed one while out on a hunt the other day, go talk to him and he can tell you more about goblins.
- Player: I will go talk to Carl right now!
- Player: I don’t need to talk to Carl right now, I will go find your daughter!
- NPC: Carl from Snowyriver killed one while out on a hunt the other day, go talk to him and he can tell you more about goblins.
- Player: I never heard of them, how dangerous are they?
- NPC: Small, green, slimy creatures, have you not seen them?
- NPC: My daughter was kidnapped by some goblin scouts, can you go find her and bring her back to me?
- Player: I can’t help you right now, i’m busy!
- Player: What do you need?
- Carl NPC: How can I help you?
- Player: I heard you killed a goblin scout, can you give me some tips?
- NPC: Take a weapon and some armor, they are tough to kill!
- Player: Where do I find armor and weapons?
- Player: I heard you killed a goblin scout, can you give me some tips?
...and so on. This can go off in as many directions as you like with as many side quests
