Controversial/Mature Topics Forum Section

Similar to the suggestion that jxhdvn created but taking it to the next step. Create a new forum section specifically devoted to topics that could potentially be viewed as "controversial."

The same rules would still apply and comments that are not civil/appropriate can be removed as needed. There's a fine line between having a civil discussion and cursing at one another.

As for how much traffic this subsection could get: Throughout the General Discussion section the threads that have had to do with mature/controversial topics typically outperform the average post in this section, and I do believe it could be self sustaining on its own.

MC-Market really isn't the place for these sorts of topics. Over the past year or so we've been getting more relaxed with removing controversial threads from the site and waiting to see how the community handles it, and each time we end up needing to lock the threads because they get out of control and result in harassment/disrespect towards groups or specific people.

Unfortunately I don't think that the community can really handle this sort of serious discussion at the moment, and it certainly isn't an area of the site that I would like to focus on expanding.
