Hey,

A new website design for converting.to has been in place for the past year or so. Quite recently, we have completed the full design phase of this project and will be moving on from the old test template that was proven to be quite successful. Below you are able to see the new design we are planning to develop but we'd love to hear some thoughts, feedback, and constructive criticism on areas where the page could be improved.

We would highly appreciate it if anyone could think of a more stylish AD placement for the updated design.

Definitely didn’t want to make it unique as it’s an online tool for individuals, complicating the design to set it aside from a “generic” design would probably make the accessibility and use of the tool harder. I heavily appreciate the feedback nonetheless.

2022 is miles better! I love the clean look of it all and it's straightforward to look at. Plus, it seems easy to use as it's all there as soon as you click on the page. A dark mode would be lovely, but that's me being as picky as I can think to be. To me, the ad placement looks fine and wouldn't annoy me as a user. Honestly, I don't think there are many better options for placement for you and the user.

And just a final note on your service, I'll for sure be using it when I need to convert stuff in the future as it looks better than websites I've previously encountered.

I appreciate the kind words, as per your suggestion - we will be implementing a dark mode to the page, don’t see a reason as to why we shouldn’t have it, thank you!

PS: I’ll update the thread once the full mock-up & dark mode are finalised.

Looks awesome! In my opinion AD placement is good, you can also add another AD banner at the bottom of the page, or move the third AD to the bottom.

Apologies for another notification - but since you recommended it, I thought it'd only be fair in asking for your opinion on the dark mode. Once again, appreciate the suggestion.

The design looks awesome, however, I personally don't like the drop-down selector when selecting the format of the file of "CONVERT TO" button

On both v2 (dark mode) & v2 (light mode).
I think the text color should be made more readable; more dark on the light theme & more light on the dark theme.
And probably it would look better if instead of being displayed just as text if it's seen as a button, giving box borders or giving it a background color.
