Before I start I'll just preface this so I don't waste many people's time. We are looking for developers that will not require any pay at this time. However, if you are reading this and have even a tiny ounce of interest, please keep reading. This entire read is about 2 minutes.
Skeppy and His Community
Most of you probably know Skeppy. The 2 Million subscriber YouTuber? If you aren't updated on him, he hosts events for cash prizes. These can be parkour, waterdrop, last to stop running, pretty much anything.
Skeppies is a user that, if you watch Skeppy, you most definitely know. He is known as "The Luckiest Player Ever", after winning the "50 Corners $1,000 Event" and the "100 Corners $2,000 Event". Skeppies decided that he wanted to give back to the community, and decided to start hosting events of his own. Of course, he doesn't have near as large prizes, but most of the events he began hosting were for around $20-30. He was doing this on a realm, that could only support a couple of people.
I contacted Skeppies about an opportunity, to make a server. I told him the benefits, and he loved it. Ever since then, we have been hosting events every single day for cash prizes, ranks, discord nitro, and more.
Our turnouts are pretty good, we usually get around 80-100 players per event. Heres our most recent event screenshot.
The Problem
Like I have said, our turnouts are good, however, at this point, there is no reason for Skeppies to continue providing payouts. We have developed an extremely community that can fill our entire server within 5 minutes of pinging the discord, but we can't keep up like this. Even with Skeppies capital, the server needs more. We have been able to receive around $40 total in donations. Most of the ranks you see on the screen there are event winners.
Our Request
Corner Network caters towards events. So, we want to keep it going that way. Through lots of work, we believe we have a custom game mode nearly completed where players will be able to host events. We hope that the community response will be amazing from this, as initial beta testing of features proves.
However, I am not a developer. To be honest, all I can do is read java, and even that's hard. I built this network from the ground up with no custom coding, just configuring plugins. Through the generosity of @ErkSterk, we have been able to have custom plugins roll out all across the network, still, we need more. Erk and I cannot handle the requirements and work needed to be done if we are to complete the project anytime soon. We are looking for anyone, anyone willing to lend a hand with the project. Even if you are a beginner, I ask that you message me to talk. Every little bit of help is needed.
The minds behind Corner believe there's so much potential, we just need a little bit more help to get there.
