Make a limited use coupon such as a 50% of on ranks for 5 ppl and post this monthly in announcements, will keep users active :)
Please don't have a set date, just once a month so people don't just get on that day they know it is a coupon drop

We do about one sale each year, and I think that is plenty. I don't want to be like those Minecraft servers who constantly advertise that this is the last day of their 90% off sale that never actually ends. Too many sales or coupons makes people consider the account upgrades to be worth less than their actual price, which isn't the best.
