COVID-19 Information?

Hey Guys!

So my name is Michael and currently I am enlisted in the United States Air Force! I am currently competing with my Squad Leader who is a Tech Sgt. He said I had 24 hours to find out how COVID-19 is effecting the world as an "experiment" in reality he is just upset that he lost in Table Tennis to me haha.

I am asking a favor from you guys if you are comfortable with it! Can you guys comment your State you are from and if you know anyone around you who has been affected by the virus? It would help me create an easy spread sheet!

Also! Who doesn't love finding people that live in the same state as them!

Canada (Ontario) -- currently don't know anybody who is affected by the virus in any way besides behind stuck at home

I don't know anyone personally, my county was one of the first to be quarantined so we have a low amount of cases.

One of the devs I employ got sick, so that wasn't great. Otherwise, nobody I personally know has been affected.

California (USA) - Administrator at nearby school contracted the virus and made 25 students get quarantined do to having interactions with her.

NJ - My grandfather died of it (we believe). One of the nurses at his nursing home tested positive for it.

Seoul, South Korea -- my country was on the high side in the beginning weeks, but we are starting to contain it pretty well.

I have a friend who's brother?/cousin? has a weak strain of it.
Our state (or at least many counties) is/are forcing masks and the whole lock-down currently.

A friends grandfather back home in the north contracted it and sadly passed away.

Our lockdown has just been extended by 3 weeks as the death toll is still in the daily 700s plus

- Stuff isn't closed much, everything here seems normal, but people are "only" advised to stay at a home.

Florida - Supposed to be on quarantine, only going out for essentials, but people don't fully comply. The nursing homes have been hit hard, resulting a large portion of Florida's deaths, unfortunately. The only people I know who were personally effected were my neighbors - one person in the household went on a trip with someone who tested positive - they had to completely isolate starting about a month ago. They were eventually tested and none tested positive.

India - Lockdown has recently been extended, situation is getting somewhat controlled. Police and government is warning everyone, anyone out of house without proper equipment is getting arrested and food is provided to poor who lost their day to day jobs.
