With Covid-19 shutting down a bunch of companies and schools and stuff What has everyone been doing coping with the lockdowns and social distancing? Do you find yourself feeling more stressed and lonely? Are you taking advantage and catching up on sleep and work? Are you going out more then before things got crazy? I'm interested in seeing how everyone is coping.

Really shit for me, being on lockdown is starting to get to me alot, i rely on going outside to keep my mental health at a good state, so sitting indoors all day not having anything to do isnt having any good affects on me.

I feel very relaxed knowing the chances of me dying are a lot higher than everyday life, hbu?

Are you fully on lockdown meaning you can't go outside to go for a run and stuff? I live in San Diego and they are allowing us to go outside to do that as long as we follow social distancing rules.[DOUBLEPOST=1585850874][/DOUBLEPOST]
Serbia has 24h lockdown starting tomorrow.. dunno what we will do..
How are you going to keep yourself sane when you guys go lock down?

For us, we are allowed to leave and do things. They have advised us to stay 6 feet away from others, so the grocery stores and gas stations put tape on the floor near the checkout about 6 feet apart... strange times. All non-essential businesses got shut down by no other than Andrew Cuomo (governor of New York). Most schools in the area have been giving us online work to do which takes maybe 30 minutes. What really sucks is that I am a senior and my senior year is getting cut really short, along with some of our senior activities like the trip and ball.

But what I have been doing to stay active is exercise and go for walks when it is nice out. My sleep schedule is really screwed up now. I work a delivery driver job, so I am usually working a couple of nights, and what makes that different is we have to just drop off the food on the doorstep, ring the doorbell, and leave. Everyone pays with their card online or over the phone, no more cash option, which really sucks because a majority of people tip in cash, whatever though. Life could be worse, and I am actually enjoying more free time.

I am living in The Netherlands, and we are actually allowed to go outside. but like everything is closed except for supermarkets and some other shops. I don't go outside though since I don't have shit to do. And we also need to keep 1.5 meters of distance from each other.

That sucks that its your senior year and all this is happening. I'm really glad that I graduated last year because it sucks its unfortunate for the people graduating this year. I also really enjoy my free time I have time to remodel a room in my home to make my new gaming setup and room.

Situation in most affected countries as of now /03th of April, 2020/:
-
JQiQLtI.png

- Most death cases are in Europe (75% of all death cases)
- Reason for high death rate in Spain & Italy (nearly half of the cases around the globe) is: aging population
- Statistics from below doesn't mean that you are immortal but you are more likely to die from other things rather than COVID-19

Overall, in my opinion:
- You should be calm and patiently wait until this is all over, seasonal flues take more deaths (a few times more) than this one. Reason for all these measures is to protect the elder population which does not have strong immune system as young people do.
- It was confirmed that patients in Italy who take supplements Zinc and Selen has decreased their risk to develop any complications at all.
- By the time you patiently wait, you might want to invest in the stocks market / cryptocurrency market. Currently stocks in airplane industry companies such as Boeing in USA (with over 100 years of history) is an absolute bargain (a few times cheaper).
- The world economy crisis seems to be a lot worse than the disease itself which makes me think that this was all set up.

However, this is my personal opinion so don't take it in consideration. Stay calm, patient, stay positive. Everything will be fine.

How about you? You never said how you are doing! Also, thanks for making this post. I bet being able to express these feelings help a lot of people.

But also this, because isolation really messes with my mental health / productivity and even just seeing people in my classes (my only time I actually am in public) was greatly beneficial for me. Also was finally getting the care / changes in my life I needed to get out of depression & quit my bad habits then quarantine caused all of those things to stop except my anti-depressant dosage increase. Luckily, I'm not actually depressed thanks to the increased dosage! But I'm also not engaging in any activities that will help me in the near or far future. Basically just gaming, tv, etc tbh. Grades are going to be really screwed if I don't get my shit together in the next 24 hours lol.
