[Craft Economy](https://crafteconomy.io/) is an upcoming crypto based Minecraft network with direct integration with our own custom blockchain based off the Cosmos SDK.
We're looking for a junior and mid level Java Developer to join our development team with a focus on Minecraft, however, there will be opportunities to help with direct crypto integration and learn about the crypto world!
You will be paid hourly for this role with a rate dependent on the role you apply for and your relevant skillsets within the industry. All payments are sent in USD every Friday and will be sent via crypto under USDC which is a stable coin on the Ethereum network equivalent to the United States dollar, we will not be paying any other way but will provide support with setting up Coinbase or any other platform to receive your weekly payment.
**Java Developer** (25+ hours a week) $15 - $25
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in Java and with noSQL databases, preferably MongoDB and Redis
- Working with the Bukkit, as well as the ability to write code interacting with NMS
- A track-record of writing highly efficient, multi-threaded code
- The ability to deploy and debug in an Ubuntu Linux server environment
- Strong problem solving, debugging, and optimisation skills
- Proven ability to work in a team with strict deadlines
**Bonuses:**
- Previous experience with large networks in any technical capacity
**Junior Java Developer** (25+ hours a week) $12 - $18
**Requirements:**
- At least 1 year of experience in Java and with some sql or noSQL database knowledge, preferably MongoDB and Redis
- Proven experience working with the Bukkit api
- Knowledge writing efficient, multi-threaded code
- Knowledge of deploying and debugging in an Ubuntu Linux server environment
- Proven ability to work in a team with strict deadlines
- A willingness to learn
