Extremely Reliable
We understand that unexpected downtime isn't acceptable when running a community. We're here to make sure that doesn't happen. With completely redundant infrastructure, and an active support team, you can rest easy knowing your server will always be reachable.

Minimal Latency Introduction
When every millisecond counts, you can't afford to use a service that introduces a huge amount of additional latency. We've placed our infrastructure in some of the most common locations to ensure your server is as close to ours as possible.*

Advanced Layer 7 Filtering
No matter the attack vector, whether it be bot attacks, packet flooding, or an issue in the server software you're using, we stop the attack in it's tracks and only forward the cleaned traffic to your server.

Pricing
At the time of writing (4/21/21) our service is completely free and available to anyone.

Infrastructure Locations
Vint Hill, Virginia
Beauharnois, Quebec
Gravelines, France
Frankfurt, Germany

Contacts
Discord: https://discord.gg/gt2jwG8tfx
Website: https://craftguard.net

* We're always looking to expand our service into other regions. If your server isn't in a region that is covered by us, let us know and we can work on expanding out to that region.

So what makes you different from TCPSheild? and why should We trust you with our data?

So what makes you different from TCPSheild? and why should We trust you with our data?
We don't differ from TCPShield much, we're just simply offering up a free alternative to communities that don't want to deal with TCPShield's free bandwidth cap.

How can you trust us with your data? You can't, you can't trust anyone really. Any encryption implementation on our end would still technically allow me to read all the data we store. We don't share or sell your personal information, and we don't log any ingress or egress traffic (except bandwidth used, but this is solely for analytical purposes).

We also plan on eventually open-sourcing our proxy that handles everything behind the scenes, but it's currently closed-source. If you can't trust us, surely you can trust yourself.

Also, there's this quote from /g/:

Administering a _____ is sort of like being a nurse; there's a brief period at the start when the thought of seeing people's privates might be vaguely titillating in a theoretical sense, but that sort of thing doesn't last long when it's up against the daily reality of sh**, pi**, blo**, and vo***.

Now that I think about it, administering a _____ is exactly like being a nurse, only people die slightly less often.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.

Do you guys allow UDP for Bedrock connections?
At this moment in time, no. Although, this is something we've been looking to do for quite some time now. If there is enough demand for it, we will surely do it.

Interesting concept, it's good to see more affordable options for server owners. Who is behind this project and will you establish a proper website any time soon?

At the moment, it's just me and a friend working on this. And yes, a proper website is in the works, we just need to finish up our client area and such before releasing it to the public.

We run this service out of pocket as our contribution to the community.
You guys must somehow break even or you'd be operating at a massive loss (Having 4 PoP's is pretty expensive).
Do you guys use those servers for other services as well?

On a side note, since I'm assuming you guys are using OVH, how do you mitigate internal attacks within the OVH network and do you rely solely on OVH's VAC mitigation or do you apply your own scrubbing somehow?

1): We are indeed running this service at a loss, like I said above, it's all paid for out of pocket. And no, we don't sell any information about our customers or their servers.

2): No, these servers are not used for anything else, they are solely used to host our proxy software.

3): Regarding attack mitigation, we do not solely rely OVH's VAC mitigation, although it is used. I won't go into specifics about how we mitigate attacks of obvious reasons, but we have plenty of things up our sleeve.

Seems pretty sketchy ngl, do you have any reputation in this industry or any reason people should trust you? "We run this service out of pocket as our contribution to the community." doesn't really seem like a likely incentive for such a service.

What're your thoughts on having a third party conduct an audit on what you've created?

Have you done an internal audit?

Nonetheless, seems very interesting, and it's nice to see more people enter this industry.

We haven't had anything audited yet, we did have talks about it internally, just haven't decided on it yet. Like I said a few posts back though, we do eventually plan on open-sourcing our proxy that handles everything behind the scenes.

Would there be an option for a node in Asia?
At this moment in time we don't have any proxies in Asian regions. If there is high enough demand, this is something we can definitely look into. :)
