Hello interested developers on MC-Market,

The first Minecraft college is upon us. Representing core areas of Minecraft, CraftTech allows the player to choose what they feel is right for them. From PvP to Adventure, the player has the ability to mold the way they enjoy the network, together with the people that fit with them the most. With you, the developer, we can truly create an custom experience that allows us to stand out and make an impact on the Minecraft stage.

As for compensation for developers that are accepted to the team, they can receive a personal MC testing server or web testing server that can be used for anything, whether to have fun or get serious development. In terms of other payment, we are hoping to offering monetary payment once we create a stable playerbase and donations flow to assist with server costs.

We understand that some of you may just be developers that code one project in return for monetary compensation, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, with developers having the knowledge to maintain and dedicate much of their time to the work of the server, we feel that developers applying should be ready to embrace us and other staff members to maximize productivity with a fun subtlety.

______________

Still interested and ready to apply? Read the requirements below to find out if you qualify for our application process. If you meet all of the requirements, please reply to this thread or PM this account with your Skype username so I can ask further questions about your development in general.

Requirements
Web Developer:
- Must be 15 years of age or older. (Younger applicants can also be accepted, so age is not a restricting factor to apply)
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must have access to Skype for team communication (can be installed on all platforms, including access via web browser)
- Must be able to work with others.
- Must have thorough knowledge of HTML, Javascript, PHP, and CSS.
- Must be able to meet flexible deadlines established by administrative team.
- Must be able to attend staff meetings when scheduled. (Although it is understood if any personal conflicts interfere)
- Preferred: Must have prior knowledge of working with XenForo.
- Preferred: Live in the United States.
- Preferred: Be capable of pulling from MySQL databases to create site elements infused with the pulled information (player data from network, etc.)

NOTE: Preferred are not required, but they are useful in allowing development to become more succinct with the staff team and server.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I speak upon most developers, no developer will take on a job without an upfront payment... just stating my opinion.

Thank you for your opinion, but I have seen positive results from a thread like this. It does not hurt to try :)

Right, thank you for pointing that out. Updated the main post.

Is he willing to work for the payment established above?
There is a '?' at the end of his name for a reason, he will tell you when he gets here...

Michael wont work for a non upfront payment job I know that for sure because it can not be trusted.
Let me make one thing clear. Since I am offering a testing server, there is no monetary compensation. Therefore, I am not looking for web developers that are wanting payment, but ones that want to help out for the sake of bettering the network.

I have recruited people on MC-Market before without offering monetary payment, so it is appreciated that posts going against that are stopped so the thread can stay on topic. Thank you.

Hey there,

Thanks for the mention Elliatt :)
However, this user is looking for a free website. I only accept commissions in exchange for payment. This user also seems to be wanting a permanent web developer to work for his network without pay. This is not the job for me and not what I do.

However, feel free to contact me if you're willing to pay for a website and we may be able to work something out. Otherwise, good luck with the server and network.

Best regards,
Michael // 1amDev

Christopher thanks for tagging me!

Unfortunately, I can't take this project due to holidays and limited time.

I can fill all your expectations but I require payment upfront. Honestly you will get 2-3 dev's to do this but they wont have exceptional quality in their work or good experience.

For any dev who needs a test environment for free I recommend Cloud9, It's a free cloud IDE for you to not only test your web work but also write code in the cloud. They offer all kinds of languages and frameworks on Linux flavors. I've been using it for over a year now and I've even bought premium membership from them.

Great idea though, I would have been really attracted to the offer if there was monetary payment! I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!
