Ill learnIf you don't know how to get 1GB/s uplink etc I wouldn't advise really getting into it, you have to have a lot of knowledge in linux, system administration, networking etc. Just my opinion
We think we can get down to $200-$400 a month. Servers unsure in specs pretty sure mostly 8gb-16gb with E5650. There is just a box of hard drives. I think the blades are like 32-64 GB X5670. We are unsure on cost of power. Still looking into that. I know my state is relatively cheap for power and property. We will host VPS, dedicated, and minecraft, others can host what they like.[DOUBLEPOST=1495502926][/DOUBLEPOST]How much will the office space cost per month? location? price for electricity in your area? specs of your servers? what you plan to host (websites, mc?). You need to be very descriptive and have a business plan. This post is all over the place.
I can't get GB Ethernet at my house. We have such bad wifi. We get 1mb up and down. What would u recommend for keeping servers[DOUBLEPOST=1495502962][/DOUBLEPOST]Dude getting an office is a pain in the ass process. Work out of a garage or extra bedroom for as long as possible or even an apartment if you're so desperate to get your own space but getting an office is a pain.
I will send pics this weekend. I have finals till Friday. Saturday we are going to talk about plansJust out of curiosity could you show pics of everything?
Will also show proof with name on piece of paperJust out of curiosity could you show pics of everything?

Greatly appreciated if added on skype[DOUBLEPOST=1495503058][/DOUBLEPOST]Wow, what an opportunity. That is going to cost you a pretty penny but good luck nevertheless! DM me if you ever decide to do anything Minecraft server related, I'm probably pretty good at it.
We plan to get that done this weekend or next. There is a lot of factors to balance. Do u happen to know how I can get power price? That's a lot better info.
I'd recommend getting a full inventory on everything you have and then writing out a business plan with your planned monthly expenses and then a list of your pricing structure and projected profits after you account for all expenses and then come back to MC-M ready to pitch to more users who may be willing to help you out more![]()
At that point you should find a company doing something similar and see if they're renting out parts of their building. We think we can get down to $200-$400 a month. Other than a massive datacenter which would put parts to waste it can not be done. What would u do from the property standpoint? At that point you should find a company doing something similar and see if they're renting out parts of their building.

We have generator and backup server battery alreadyI would recommend calling the companies in your local area and getting quotes for electricity usage. You may also want to look into possible backup power solutions for if the power goes out. Downtime could greatly hurt your hosting business.
He has backup batteries which I am assuming his will last for a few hours before they die for running all of those servers[DOUBLEPOST=1495503344][/DOUBLEPOST]I would recommend calling the companies in your local area and getting quotes for electricity usage. I mean when I said similar companies that's a very loose term for example my friend who I helped start a business with, he has a small hosting company and he's sharing an office with a small game developer. Just look around your area.Other than a massive datacenter which would put parts to waste it can not be done. What would u do from the property standpoint?
