Create a "Regular Accounts" Section

I think that MCM should allow the sale of regular minecraft accounts on the site. I see too often people trying to sell their regular names in the OG section.

I, myself own multiple accounts that are worth no more than $2, and want to sell them on MCM but can't.

It would be lovely if we could have such a section, but you should know that people would just use that section for stolen accounts.

I made a thread like this before and it got immense support from the community, but it won't be implemented because these types of accounts are frequently stolen.

I saw this on a different forum and it was awful. Always threads that have varying prices by a matter of cents like 0.70, $1 etc.

Just make a section for regular accounts, but only accounts with TID. Simple.

TID accounts already get sold under "special accounts"

I feel like having a whole section dedicated to it would encourage those shady new users that sell unmigrateds to lie about having TIDs.

And a majority of OG accounts aren't legit either.
Selling Mojang accounts is illegal, yet supported here and they still wont allow regular/non OG accounts to be sold?

By allowing only OG/special accounts to be sold, the amount of stolen accounts is limited by a lot because sellers can't just sell cracked accounts in large quantities. Sure they can change the name to some semi like I've seen, but a much lower amount gets sold this way. If an OG or cape is proven to be stolen, it is not allowed to be sold either. We can take the word of an OG/cape seller and take it down if it's proven to be stolen. We can't just take the word of a regular account/unmigrated seller due to the fact that nearly all of these are stolen.

In the past, users selling stolen accounts have caused many problems for us. For example: dannyBstyle's account, a Mojang cape, translator capes and a scrolls cape got cracked and sold in the past and as a result, Marc_IRL was not happy and made an account here and kind of kept an eye on shady stuff like this. It's also been said that Verringer heard concerns from Mojang regarding cracked accounts, which is probably why the rule was made in the first place.

I originally wanted regular accounts to be allowed here myself, but I realized that the rule isn't there to be a hindrance but rather to regulate the amount of stolen accounts sold and discourage cracking.

I would still want the rule enforced that you cannot sell unmigrated. It could also be reasonable that considering accounts would be selling for $1-2, that scam reports are nor allowed. I sell regular (migrated) accounts offsite for $2 each, and I've never had a failed transaction.

This is a problem where it's the end users fault. We're dealing with no more than $5 a transaction.
