I'm quite behind on creating timelapse videos for my commission illustrations and the recordings are starting to pile up. SO, I'm looking for a video editor who can help me out on a recurring basis.

The process is quite simple, just a bit time consuming:
  1. Use VLC to convert MKV files to MP4 (this is what I use anyway)
  2. Add files to Premiere
  3. Scale each video speed to ~2000% (The final videos should be close to 10 minutes)
  4. Add ken burns style pan and zoom plus 3 second cross fade over the first and last 5 seconds of the video using the final illustration PNG.
  5. Find license free music or buy music from AudioJungle.com (If you pick the song I will buy it) that fits the length of the video and theme. Also repeating the same song multiple times can work. The music will need to naturally end when the video ends. You may need to adjust the video speed to get them to line up correctly.
  6. Render the video.
Here is an example of what the final videos looks like:

Requirements & Final Delivery:
  • You will be required to use Adobe Premiere.
  • You will receive raw video footage and final illustration file(s) via Google Drive or WeTransfer
  • Final delivery must include the final render and all source files.
  • I prefer that you will send one invoice at the end of each month and I will pay within 24 hours. That is my preference, but I'm open to more adhoc invoicing and payments if you need it.
  • I can pay with paypal, credit card or bank transfer, whichever you prefer.
  • I will pay 50% of any transaction fees.
  • It would be ideal if you could deliver videos on a weekly schedule, but there is no rush or timeline from when I complete a recording to when you need to complete the timelapse.
Hiring process:
  • Since these videos are quite simple a portfolio won't be necessary.
  • Ideally I'm looking for a flat rate offer per video. I'm not looking for the lowest offer. I feel strongly that if you are not being fairly compensated you will rush the work or loose motivation to work on these videos.
  • I will likely start by giving videos to a number of candidates and narrow down the individuals I work with over time as I figure out who provides the highest quality work and is the easiest to work with.
I might be interested in these services as well:
  • Can you upload the videos to YouTube?
  • Can you create a polished video thumbnail?
  • Can you schedule the release of the video?
  • Can you create additional promotional content from the videos and final art for social media posts?
  • Can you manage social media messaging of the video release?
