Creation of branding guidelines for 2 businesses

Hi All,

I am looking for a professional designer or company capable of creating 2 branding guidelines including logos, fonts, colour pallet etc.

The business are essentially going to be the same service, one for Minecraft, the other for Hytale. The only differences desired in terms of branding and design will be the logo, text and colour pallets. The eventual web designs will be identical outside of these factors.

My Requirements:

• 1 year of experience being formally employed in the industry or outstanding portfolio
• Previous experience with creating or amending branding guidelines

Compensation:

• Project value to be discussed
• Payment via BACS (If UK), PayPal, Debit/Credit card

Time frame:

• Ideally within 2 - 6 weeks of project finalisation / acceptance

I am not looking for the cheapest designer, I am looking for someone who is going to provide a good quality service.

I expect there to be future work required as the projects develop.

Deadline for responses is the 6th of July, you'll hear back from by the 10th of July with my final decision.

With all due respect I want to find and vet the people who will be working on this. I want to discuss the project with the freelancer before a quote is made so I want to speak directly to the people involved, not go through a middleman / agency service.

By this I meant I'm looking for a person or a team of people that will directly be responsible for fulfilling this. I have no wish to go through an agency or recruitment for this.

Just because I don't know what it is doesn't mean I can't make it. A quick google searches and it seems like a very simple task, that only requires rudimentary photoshop skills.

But I specifically want someone with prior experience with branding to do this job for me. Its not just a document its the entire style and feel of a company and it needs to be right.

I read it. I'm not trying to be a dick either, but you're at a Minecraft forum. 99% of everyone here is in rookie league. Either way, this is about design, just because I specifically haven't made brand documents, doesn't mean I can't make them to perfection.

Add me, I'll create it, and if you don't like it you can negatively rep me and we call it a day, yes?

I have had 3 submissions from people who clearly fit the requirements. There are plenty more jobs you can do on here.

I disagree that 99% of people are rookies. There are a lot of talented members on this forum and I am specifically targeting this work towards them. Again its not just about making the best graphics, its about how well it fits in with the brief and how accurate it is to the company. Its a massively important task that I only want to give to someone with more experience. This isn't a change my mind thread.

I am not going to ask you to do work that I don't feel you are capable of and then give you a negative rep if it doesn't go well. Thats just not fair on you and wastes my time.

If you want a project your going to have to ask someone else. I'm sorry for straight up rejecting you but I specifically stated that I didn't want someone that was inexperienced. Stop trying to get around my requirements, its not going to happen.

Let me ask you something. When you were a kid, assuming (and hoping) you're still not, did your parents ever not trust you to do something, because they simply didn't think you could do it. And you were just there thinking how stupid they are, when you could clearly do it yourself. Perhaps you were in the store, they forgot something at the check-out, and asked you to get it. You clearly know where the milk is, because you've been there thousands of times, but again, they realize you're just a kid, and so they say, "Nevermind, you wait here and I'll be right back".

I'm assuming you know who Elon Musk is, a billionaire, who is nothing like most parents. He hires people without college degrees because he knows that you don't need the experience to be brilliant at something. Anyway, have fun with your average designers.

Since you had a point about age, for the record I'm 21. Fine then ill bite because I can't be bothered to argue with you any more. If your that bothered DM me about another task for a separate business and you can go and have fun on that. If its not what I want though I'm 100% not going to pay you for it. If its good then we can discuss numbers.

That being said, in regards to these projects, I'm sorry but I'm not Elon musk. I don't ask for a degree I just ask for experience or evidence of previously doing the job and that is in no way unreasonable. In the real world you can't just get a job because you really want to and you think your good. You have to be able to prove it. Life's tough, I know. Now please stop blowing up this thread.
