i've seen an increase in crypto talk in chat box. definitely needs it's own section on mcm now, not just to exchange bitcoin.

no reason not to add it, thoughts?

No, people buy/sell crypto there. hell, it's called currency conversion, people only chose to post crypto offers there.

Maybe a sub-forum to Currency Conversion? Or a forum of Cryptocurrency and Currency Conversion as a sub-forum?

I personally have barely seen people talk about cryptocurrency to have its own forum, no where near enough to have its own section.

10 hours of the day you can scroll thru that chat and there will definitely somewhere will be written "BTC" "Bitcoin" or something to do with cryptocurrencies.

Yes, like I said, a forum for it is fine. it's understandable.
But why have a whole section dedicated to it?
This is a Minecraft Forums, and there are only 2 sections dedicated to Minecraft.
So why add another one just for CryptoCurrency.

I counted over 25+ subforums where Minecraft discussion and trade happens.
Adding one subforum under off-topic or even general discussion for cryptocurrency seems perfectly reasonable.

I don't see why we need a forum for it just yet. Just because people discuss crypto in the shoutbox doesn't mean they'll he be making threads about it.

Right now if you'd like to discuss it, use the general discussion forum. If we see enough demand we will consider a forum for it.

It's a Minecraft market for a reason.
Adding crypto here will drive the market to a whole new direction imo, which can totally disrupt the minecraft deals over time.
