CURIOUS Is hosting in Canada(Beauharnois) ok? Dedicated server

So I've been looking at dedicated servers and came upon SoYouStart. From what I know they are OVH's old servers so they should be good quality?

My Mc servers / Website / Teamspeak servers are going to be focused to USA players.
So if I purchase a dedicated server from SoYouStart that is located in Canada(Beauharnois). How bad will players in ex. California lag? Will it be like playing on EU servers?

Soyoustart/OVH is a great company and by far the best on the internet for game servers for the simple fact that their networks are very stable and the DDoS mitigation is realtime. Ticket based support can be slow, but they have a 24/7 phone number you can call and always get a live person. I had an IPMI failure at 3am one time, I called them up and it was fixed within 20 minutes so I can personally vouch for their reliability.
