That video shows you the basis of the new plugin I am creating and I only started to recreate plugins only to offer new servers if they wanted to buy them. I'm asking if anyone would purchase someone like this and if they would like, I could work with them one on one to provide and work on this plugin to their desire.

The custom enchantment I used, Wither 1, does work and I could add endless more with ways to receive the book shards. I can add it to randomly receive it if you are farming, mining, even PvPing, and also from certain mobs. I have endless ideas with this plugin but I need someone that wants someone like this to purchase it off of me when it's done.

UPDATED:

Certain XP is required to get a shard (1/5) or a full shard (5/5) book.
Legendary Enchantments are first tier enchantments, and Mythic are second tier enchantments.
Once the full shard book is received..

You can right click it and you will get the custom enchantment book that has a success and destruct chance of adding it onto your sword.

If destruct chance occurs, the book only breaks not the sword.

This script/plugin is still under work but once again as I said, if someone wants something like this, they can purchase now and I can make the plugin like they want with whatever feature they want it with.

While skript is okay if you don't know java and want to add some unique stuff to your server, it uses a lot of resources and is not good for larger servers. Java is much more efficient and better to use and if you don't realize that then idek.

Haha yup that's me. I used to own Icerift which I took down after inactivity. I don't record anymore because the administrator that took over CosmicPvP screwed me over so I had no connections to him whatsoever but it was a blast working with him. And I don't know what I might do with my channel, probably sell it or give it to a friend.

I get that Skript uses more resources but not necessarily if you use it right. There are ways in Skript that can make a plugin as efficient as a Java plugin. Trust me, you have a wrong understanding of Skript and if I was on my computer I'll show you that it can be as complex as Java and reliable, using minimum resources.

Well Skript is a large plugin and if you want to make something simple such as a swear filter for example, it's going to use more resources having that whole skript plugin and the skript file, apart from a small java jar.

Skript is a cancer, enough said. It's like running a website that supports some derp 'coding' language, to code another website on top of it, because you can't be arsed to learn php/html/css.

It's just plain dumb.

I'll tell you what is cancer, your narrow minded response. You seem to forget that Minecraft is made for children, Skript allows children the ability to develop their Minecraft server without paying hundreds of dollars for a Java plugin to be developed.
Skript is also a very good starting point providing some insight into coding such as correctly formatting your code.

Think of it like a level of hierarchy.
Minecraft/Mojang- The top dogs, the guys that are already strict on the EULA.
Java Plugins- Who says mojang likes people developing plugins for their game to make money? shouldn't you be paid for your time?
Skript- Java developers think skript developers shouldn't make money? Java developers should get paid for their time? so why shouldn't skript developers?

If you want to level shit out depending on how easy shit is how about we say HTML developers shouldn't be paid because it's easier than Java? either way, they're still languages and if you put work/time into something you better get paid so stop trashing this guys thread.

They're both languages, no matter what you think of skript, its still a language, an easier one but one that still requires time so why shouldn't people be able to out source and provide their skript development for money?

Java developers could charge 40$ for something which you could do in skript and charge let say 5$?

The way I see it is, fuck paying 40$ when I could pay 5$ or do it myself.
Some server owners don't get time or the donations to add something new to their server, so 5$ instead of 40$ is better.

Should be free? I know this skript developer, he spent weeks working on this project and it has over 5.5 thousand lines. If you developed this then you would want something in return.

All this has done is make you sound butt-hurt because there is an easier way for server owners to get what they want and not pay a fortune.

HTML is HTML, Java is Java, and Skript is a layer between 2 languages.

That plugin you linked me, just to run it it requires 5 dependencies, which is around 12.5 MB of space just to run that one stupid 'plugin'.

Skript is good for kids who want to experiment, but it shouldn't be sold because you will end up with a bad-quality product which requires shit ton of dependencies, and adds more stress for the server.

It should be clear for a guy who knows shit / owns big servers, but if you decide to buy a bad quality product, it's your decision.

I honestly own up to 50% of the problem we've caused and will happily find a solution to fix it so this guy can have some peace.

No matter how much space/memory you get, you need to optimize it, or else it's a bad quality product.
