Custom PaperSpigot compiling

So I got a source code from a custom paperspigot, everything works fine but since I have never dealt with compiling spigots, I want to ask does anyone know how to properly export(compile) it?

SainttX has a good tutorial on the IPVP repo. Just follow that and it works.

mvn clean install bud, or as Interlagos said, SainttX's tutorial is great for beginners.
