Hello! I've been messing around with this website and decided to build a PC. I'm not sure if I'm being overkill for what I'm going to use it for and I would appreciate if I could get help reducing the total cost.

Games:
Minecraft
CS:GO
Overwatch
GTA V

Editing Software's (mainly going to use these):
After Effects
Premiere Pro
Sony Vegas
Cinema4D

Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cXGvzM
(I would also like to know if all of the parts would fit in the case)

Thanks in advance!

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

For editing/rendering etc. you need to buy a decent cpu

So where is the list of the parts? And you don't need a good pc at all for playing minecraft and csgo lol. You would probably need an okay one for overwatch though. If you're doing mainly editing though you may need to spend a fair bit more depending on how quick you want it to render and so on lol.

My PC was 1300, and that'll do fine for a while.
You're paying too much on several things.
1. that cooler. You do NOT need a cooler worth nearly $150 if you're not gonna overclock your PC to all hell. mine was worth <$40.
2. You're not likely to need a 1070 TI unless you wanna run Witcher III etc on Ultra at 100+ FPS. A 1060 6GB should handle the job (though on Ultra it means 50 fps, not quite 60).
if you want a 1070 per se, I'd say go for it. The price difference for a 1070 TI is surprisingly low.

3. The power supply. Again, idk if you're planning to overclock, but a semi-modular bronze unit is PLENTY for a PC like this. You're not even breaking 350 W at this point.

4. Windows software. Microsoft gives you the option to use a non-activated version of Windows 10 legally. All you lose is personalization settings. No limit on admin rights or whatever. https://www.windowscentral.com/you-do-not-need-activate-windows-10

I would say this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BmTZnn
or this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/26tLWX

That's also ignoring the terabyte of SSD. I would say 500 GB should be enough if you pair it with 1-2 TB of HDD, but I've already run out of space on my own 500 GB, so I'll shut up about that.

Since you'll be doing a lot of video-editing AND gaming, an i7 7700 is your best 'affordable' option. You could consider an AMD ryzen, but their gaming performance is still not quite there (individual thread strength suffers).
If it was JUST for gaming and not for editing, I would recommend an i3 8350k, which has less cores but almost the same individual thread speed for almost half the price.
