Hey! First of all, I'm not sure if this is in the correct section.. sorry in advanced! Anyways, I have been trying out different shader packs and texture packs for the last few months, but I feel like I am still missing out on a lot of quality and am not getting what I am looking for. I have heard from some other cinematographers that they use their own custom shader packs to record certain videos which interested me quite a bit.

Here are a few examples I am trying to achieve:

https://gyazo.com/dd180834da6cacbed70a6e73747088f1

And who knows? Maybe I could be running a bad texture pack or not have the correct Minecraft settings. It even could be something relating to editing such as color grading! I was just wondering if you guys could leave recommendations for the shader packs, texture packs, and settings/techniques you guys use to make professional cinematic videos! Thanks!

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Most of it is post editing, not the shaders & texture packs.
What are some things I can do to make the video look more professional in the editing software?

Most of it's post effects like colour correction (or midtones) and depth of field. Just look up on YouTube how to accomplish this, it's pretty easy in Vegas.

But the grass in the first picture is most likely from a shader pack, I don't think you can replicate that kind of "sway" in vanilla.

Yeh I definitely could improve how the video looks through the editing software, I am still learning and watching tutorials. For the shaders, I feel like I am missing out on a good pack, and would like recommendations from other users for which shaders they prefer to use/think look professional.

Continuum or a Modified Seus shaders packs on ultra settings with POM (Parallax Occlusion Mapping) textures to give it that extra spice. I'll give you a tip. Most people who do cinematics. They don't have a beast ass PC that can run the most PC intensive shaders at 60 FPS. They usually use a mod like Bauercam. Record with like 5-6 FPS and speed up the video in production to give the illusion it was shot in 60. As for color corrections. Nowadays the only thing you need is a shader pack because it does most of the work for you. When playing with CCs. You have some CCs that can literally turn a good clip bad but with just a bit of contract. A slight vigilante and maybe saturation depending on the clip. You'll be good. P.S When recording clips. Use normal FOV. It triggers me when people record cinematic in quake pro.
Bro thanks so much for typing all of this up! I had no idea about POM! I do have continuum and seus shaders, but I don't think I have the optimal settings to make them portray the best possible outcome. Any suggestions? I also do use Bauercam mod, but I love the idea about slowing it down to truly get it to look like its shot in 60 fps! I also have never color corrected a video before, so thanks for the advice on that! Please contact me on discord if you don't mind discussing further more! Henry#1891
