FTP -> Plugins -> Essentials -> config -> messages -> change what's there, if you see \uOOA7, which I know a lot of people get confused over, remember it just means '&' when it comes to colour codes. For example, if you see \uOOA76 for most of your essentials messages, (default is gold) then that just means &6, so to change it to say bold dark red you would do \uOOA74\uOOA7l{message}. Hope this helped!
