It would encourage things like "LOL, I hit 100 posts today!!!11"

I don't see anything positive with this. Sure, it allows some sort of transparency(?) but it has more of a negative effect.

My point is that it will encourage post farming which will lead to many LQ posts.

Also, the difference between this and "Total ratings" is that this can be achieved by the member himself while "Total Ratings" require other members to give you ratings.

There aremany many people who already do this, I see it I report it, all the time. I see so many LQ posts, like "GLWS" "Looks sick". & etc.. Plus it only shows us our daily posts, it make it easier to see how many posts you got thst day.
