Introduction
Hi! My name is Dak or better known as plainly Chris/Christopher. I've been on MC Market for a while now and am coming up on a 1 year anniversary this summer, but besides that I am currently 16 years of age and am in my 2nd year of high school. Most of my free time is spent either playing video games, managing a server, or with friends and family. For as long as I can remember from my 6 years of playing minecraft I have been either a staff member or manager on dozens of minecraft servers in which some are still up and running while others aren't. For example, ByteMC, this server that I use to be moderator on is averaging 40+ players as of right now. For me whenever I am staff on a server it is all about growth and building up that player base so you can have a stable successful server, but don't get me wrong it's also about creating friendships with the players and getting to know more about them!

Skills/Traits
- Activeness : On weekdays (school days) I can contribute around 4 hours each day while on the weekends I can contribute 12+ hours. When it comes to being a staff member/manager you always need to be active when necessary or if a player is having some trouble with another user or problem.
- Professional : Once again when it comes to being a staff member/manager professionalism plays a huge part in how you deal with situations. Over the course of my 6 years of playing minecraft and managing/staffing I have built up my professionalism and using it to help others in the correct and mature way.
- Knowledgeable : Stating my 6 years of playing minecraft while managing/staffing on dozens of servers again helps with this skill/trait that I have learned. Being able to know what to do in certain situations and deal with them accordingly is very important when it comes to keeping a player base and growing. Now I'm not going to say I know every single situation out there, but most I have came across and learned how to deal with it swiftly and maturely.
- Maturity : This skill/trait was first brought up in "Professional", but still felt like it needed its own description. Once again bringing up situations when dealing with a certain player or problem you need to be mature enough to handle it without trying to make a joke about it or what not. It's a seriously problem and shouldn't be laughed at. This I have learned how to deal with and have built up my maturity.
Past Experiences
- ByteMC (Moderator) : As I have stated this server up in the "Introduction" of this thread I still felt like it needed once again its own description. While I am no longer apart of ByteMC, I had spent around 6 months moderating on the server. At the time it was only strictly a prison server, but had plans to spiral out into many different gamemodes. Although it never did. To this day the server is still up and running, but is only prison. The average player base back when I was around was 25+ a day, but now it is up to 40+ players a day.
- Skyia (Manager) : While this server never really got released I still feel like it was an important one to add onto the list. This server I had spent around 3 months being a staff manager, but felt like I was more of a developer as we were planning to release as a factions server in which quickly became an MMO server with quests. I spent most of my days on there setting up and coding quests for the players to accept and complete. Then eventually the server owner gave up and shut it down.
- BananaHouse (Moderator) : Now this server never really technically officially opened. This server I was a moderator on for 6 months. Although I didn't do much as it wasn't ever released I still made sure to keep up-to-date with everything that was happening with the server and what new stuff was to come. Most of the time I've spent on there was used testing new plugins or helping with coding. No player base can really be stated for this server...
- Aeria World (Manager) : While this is a brand new Skyblock server, within it's first month we have seen an exponential amount of growth with the hiring of a streamer and a few other youtubers. Although I have been apart of this staff team for around 2-3 months now and managing the staff as much as possible, we've all been giving it our all to continue working towards success. Nonetheless our average player base is around 10-20.
Present Positions
What can I do?
- Of course managing the staff team is my top priority.
- Writing guides. Like for example a staff guide on how to handle a spammer, hacker, and etc.
- Can deal with ban appeals and reports. (Mainly would leave that to the staff team though.)
- Lastly, moderating the chat and server. (Once again would mainly leave that to the staff team.)
Why me?
You're probably saying to yourself though. "Why should I pick this guy over the others?". If there is anything you should mainly look at, it's everything I have stated on this thread of why you should choose me. Being able to be there almost 24/7, dealing with situations left and right without causing a problem is one of the biggest reasons you should do so. Also making sure the staff team is doing what they're supposed to be doing, keeping tabs on all of them to check for inactivity or if they have made a mistake. When having a powerful and amazing staff team a server will then grow and create a player base. Then eventually all of that will lead to a successful server. And that's what I plan on bringing to the table without a doubt.
