Hey,

I was fortunate enough for my parents to get me a really nice car for my first one, but I may or may not have been off some xans and hit it in a parking lot.

Now theres a really big dent in the side and websites are telling me it could cost up to $6000 for repairs, and I have no idea what to do or say to my parents. Thankfully they're not home this week.

Wow! Must be nice, a porsche

Just be honest with your parents. Honesty is the best policy. Did you call your insurance company to see if you can pay a deductable (usually around $500~)?

1. Fix it yourself.
2. Live with it.
3. Get it repaired.
4. Insurance if that even covers it.

Only way I can contact them is through my parents, so Id have to tell them, and they're going to kill me. I guess its better than having them find out tho? and yeah its pretty chill haha[DOUBLEPOST=1511926982][/DOUBLEPOST]

Tell them and you will only have to pay $500~ instead of $6000.

A porsche is very expensive. Unless you are from a wealthy family who can afford the frequent damages, I suggest just getting a less expensive car like a Honda or Toyota to start (the repair costs on these vehicles are very low). It seems like you are just an inexperienced driver who needs some more practice :)

My dad sells software to a many big companies and my moms a plastic surgeon with her own practice, we do very well for ourselves. Not that a cent of it is actually MY money but I get what you're saying.

Imma just tell my mom and have her do it behind my dads back bc she docent care much but if he finds out he's giving me a toyota 100%

You can get a kit and pull it out gently. It doesn't look that bad even so it won't be hard to pull out. Google car dent repair and either find a do it yourself method with a kit or without one, or get a friend to do it. Sure beats spending 100$'s on something that you can fix yourself.
