Please make dark (and light) chat colors against the rules:

I feel that using #ffffff should be allowed because people who use light theme deserve the fuck you
thus, I will continue to use #ffffff as my chat colour

Just inversing the color so you can see it, so if you're in dark, black becomes white (nothing happens to white) and in light, white becomes black (nothing happens to black) would be a better option.

Well it's not as simple to force that if a user defined a color. Most users set a desired color so if you force one, you'll overright all the other color codes they might want to use. Even through JavaScript or CSS, the other color codes a user might want to use would get overrighten. Best way is for the user to set their text color as none so the theme changes it automatically.

This. Absolutely this.

If you want to read harder-to-see text on your theme then either switch themes constantly or highlight the text. Takes 2 seconds and doesn't cause much trouble. If you're also super fussed, there are several Chrome extensions such as dark reader or stylish which work to decolour messages but I'm not condoning whatsoever because certain staff members find it completely disagreeable to use styling changes on a website and people get warned for using things like that (such as in the instance of pwign's theme)...anyway yeah. Highlight the text. Don't use an extension just highlight the text.

I don't like adding very very specific rules for things like that on our market. If someones using a colour that you don't like and you ask them nicely to change it I'm sure they will.
