I wasn't asking for a host.[DOUBLEPOST=1522432162][/DOUBLEPOST]
DDoS mitigation doesn't have anything to do with player amount. 1 player online can still hit off a server while 1000 may not, depends on the toxicity.
I realize that, I just felt I should state that. Either way, you did not answer my question.

You mean how much ddos protection in gbps you'd need with a 100 playerbase? If you think that someone who actually can ddos would try to ddos you then you need 100gbps+ however if not then 40gbps is enough.

From a personal experience anything over 5GBpS should be fine. Most players can’t get past 2Gbps on there little free booter.

Your'll need 100gbps+ on a shitty DDoS protection provider because they don't know how to stop amplification attacks and now most DDoS booter now use/offer this method. I recommend any company that uses coreo filters for example zare as they will be the most reliable compared to others.
Also there will be flaws in all DDoS protection companys, some methods will be more effective than others to each company but in general anything over 100gbps and won't null route your connection should be more sustainable than smaller providers.

OVH has big issues with SYN floods.

However, their gaming ddos protection really takes alot. You can even ask them to do custom rules in their ArborNetworks configs.
