Well, My entire thought on ddos attacks is that its a very impressive way of overtaking a network.

BUT i also think the word ddos attack have been used way to much in the gaming community, with threats ect.

i have gotten so many bland ddos threats that its actually funny, but i dont fuck with that shit, becuase im well aware that there are the right people in the world that can really mess up your network if your not careful.

i will say that at the same time im really fascinated about the entire Distributed Denial of Service.

ive seen huge websites getting attacked before, i dont know if any of you call to mind "CsgoEmpire" i saw directly via discord a guy from sweden who had a giant botnet take down their site.

Lesson of this comment. be careful and dont fuck with the wrong people you never know what they are capable of.

pretty much sending shit ton of packets focused on one machine with a goal to eat as much as it can of it's resources resulting in a crash or instability of that machine.

I mean, I've been ddosed before, doesnt do much, they'll also most likely stop after 5m, I also have a dynamic ip, so I dont care if someone DDoSes me :shrug:

Also, DDoSing someone will lag their own internet because they are sending so many packets.
