High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I saw your quote of Coco 's post and I thought I would give my two cents.

The tablet isn't the most important part, but going down the Wacom path is definitely the way to go about this. You also need to look into what program(s) you'll be using, pen nibs, etc. I can personally recommend Manga Studio but a lot of people use Paint Tool SAI or Photoshop.

Need a link of where to buy a tablet huh? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=wacom+intuos+small

There's no specific tutorial for how to magically become a great artist because it's not that easy, you'll need to be practicing every day to actually advance your art. Joining art chats or posting your art to friends/other artists for critique can be very helpful. If you get Manga Studio and you want to do the typical style, try out Inkbyte's tutorials, they are very helpful.

Just speaking as a novice artist here though, I'm not by any means an expert.

What would you recommend out of my list, as Wacom is expensive? :p

I'm a Wacom fanboy, so that's not my place. Wacom is expensive, but it's high quality.

You should check out the wacom intuos series. They may be a tad more expensive than the ones you listed, but worth it for sure!

I've got the Wacom Intuos Comic myself.

Before you do anything foolish, you should know no.5 isn't really a drawing tablet. Its just a light so you can trace other drawings on it.
And I would suggest no.1

Just want to chime in and say Wacom Intuos would be the better choice (in my opinion). Started off with one and it lasted 6 years before I moved on to a cintiq. Now my niece inherited my intuos and it is still working great. Wacom tablets are supported by practically all drawing/painting/sculpting software.

I also use Manga Studio/Clip Studio Paint. It is great if you are focusing on drawing/illustrations. Once I bought it, I have not touched photoshop.

Don't know if you read the post or not. But it's one of the five options not a shitty expensive Wacom

Do you prefer drawing large or small? Personally I draw more comfortably on small notepads so when i bought a tablet I took that into consideration. If you are used to making long gestures as you draw the 8 x 5 tablets may not feel right for you.

I personally would go with #3 as it is a smaller active surface (also nice if you have limited desk space) and I would not need so many buttons, 6 would be enough for me. I usually select the tool I need on the UI and would just use the buttons for hot keys I commonly use which is mainly ctrl+z :)
