My father told me that a buddy of his is wondering if I would like to babysit his child on the 13th (Saturday) for $8.33 cash per hour from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM (6 hours, $50.00 cash total.) However, my little brother is coming to visit me and my father starting from the 13th - 27th. so he gets here the day I would be babysitting.

So my question to you is "Should I take the babysitting job or stay at home with my little brother for the first day he is here?"

Given the payment, I'm guessing you're not that old and money's more of a convenience. It's all up to you.

Your brother will be staying with you for more than a day, so taking a day from his stay to earn some cash isn't that bad, you're a person with needs, just make the days you are with him worthwhile

You have 2 weeks to stay with your little brother, so 6 hours won't be a problem at all, your dad will most likely explain your little brother that you are gone for 6 hours and you will be able to spend 13 days with him.

Take the job, grind that extra cash. It's only for 6 hours, and after you get to spend all the time with your little bro that you want. Plus, he's staying for multiple days. Thats what i would do.

If you feel its necessary to be with him, then job opportunities can wait.

Youre only going to miss your brother for a few hours, and you have 13 extra days after. Stay home only if youre planning to spend every single minute with your bro.
