Dedi server recommendations | 300-500 players

Heya, I'm looking for recommendations for a dedicated server for a network that can hold around 300-500 players.
It won't have many servers on it, only a few.
Looking for 64GB, trying to stay around $100/month, however, feel free to drop more expensive ones.

Only looking for known & trustworthy companies, not sure if I would work with Hetzner again.
Needs to be located in Europe

Thoughts on these ones, would the 1st one be enough & 2nd overkill or nah?

Yea not sure if this is a reasonable budget, it won't be like suuuuper high CPU usage now that I'm thinking of it.

What friendlyperson has advised is incorrect, you should really rephrase what OVH do offer... your stating they just give you a box and a network... come on - If you look at OVH game range they have one of the best DDoS protection available, they also offer real-time monitoring so on..

Apologies, I thought in literal terms you was just stating they only offer the machine and network, but you are correct in terms of hardware, replacements good luck with OVH, Zare are ideally more customer focused!

Yes I have, but might be a bit too low in specs (and price)
Also their Europe servers are sold out

I was looking and server4you.net seems pretty good and they've been around a long time and high specced.

OVH Infra 2 is probably the best or use PhoenixNAP they have similar Xeon E machines for cheaper prices.

i've been hosting there for years and their i7 9700k 64gb ram is 100 euros, Which is a good price. And they have a good DDoS protection
can hold 500 players with ease

I'd just use Game-1, it's going to support your players easily (especially on 1.15.2, where you need somewhat powerful specs). If you plan on getting 300-500 players, you should easily make the money back in one day if you're worried about cost.
