Long time no see
I am currently working at a company that is developing a platform in the AI field and are using servers with GPUs.
From my experience, only really big hosting providers offer these servers, and those cost a lot more than $100 - $200 a month, more like $1000, and even more.
When considering the high price of the GPU, and adding 2 crucial factors: more power consumption and more cooling, it becomes much clearer why the price is so high. On top of that, because not a lot of companies want to take the risk of not handling it right, they have the option to take much higher prices.

Already got an offer for a 2060s with a 3900x for $169/mo, so just keeping this thread open in case I come across any better offers

I could do a 3700x with a 2080, 3080 or 3090 for probably $175, $200, $250 respectively, you will just have to wait a bit of setup time so I can find someone selling one of those on Craigslist. After that, I can set it up and rack it in a relatively short amount of time.
