I'm interested in buying a custom built dedicated machine, how much would that cost me?

I'm just curious as of now, but i'd use it for a hosting company in the future.

It really depends, you can get old, used hardware for under $100, while new server-grade hardware costs $1000+

My servers usually cost $1500 (which is still on the lower end) with RAID-10 SSD's, 64 gigs of RAM and an E3v5.

Then, you have the crazy costs of shipping a 50-pound server (Unless your DC is local), then your monthly costs for colo.
