Hello folks!

I recently bought a server to host my minecraft server on. It is now completely up and running. I'm looking for someone to share it with, as my partner dropped out. It is hosted at my house, with 1gbps uplink, ddos protection and a battery backup for both the server and the internet connection.
Here are the specs:
2x Xeon X5650 (12 cores, 24 threads);
72gb of ECC DDR3 RAM;
A dedicated SSD for both our servers.

I am hosting this from Quebec City, and the ping is really good for most of North America.

I would rent half the RAM for about $40 a month.
If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to message me on discord.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I understand your feedback, but the purchase of this server was something I thought a lot about. I work for an ISP, so my FTTB connection is pretty cheap and reliable. I keep the server in a separate room, well cooled.

As for "how powerful" the server is, I am more than happy with it. I have noticed no drop in TPS on my pretty active server, even when a lot of people were on and generating chunks. Of course, it might not be the best solution for a server with hundreds of people on, but it works for me and it is more than enough for multiple servers. I was told by a previous customer that chunk loading and preloading was fast, and that he didn't notice drops in performance.

As I said, I am not looking to make a business out of this, just to help cover the costs of running my minecraft server.

Thanks again.
