Dedicated server that hold 100+ players

Hello,

Today I would like to know how much I should pay for a server that will have around 50 - 150 players on it without server TPS going below 18 -19. Also DDOS protection would be a need as this will increase server up-time by a little. Talking about RAM to the server I don't know because most of the servers plugins are made by me and are very lightweight so that is not a problem. Just to help you guys its a factions server.

My opinion would be not to get a dedicated machine until your server has not 'will have'. Especially if you dont have any system experience. Otherwise you will be wasting your money buying an $80 dedicated machine for months when your server doesn't need it.

I seen many people purchase dedicated machines before they open, thinking that when they do open they are going to have tons of players and will need a dedicated machine. These people ran out of money and their server later on closed.

I'm not looking for one I'm just wondering what kind of servers would be the best.
