What do you mean why, its a reasonable question to ask where they are hosted, the network etc............
I'm willing to tell a paying customer :)

Must be a bad provider if you aren't willing to say. Hiding information from people when they ask raises questions.
Personally, if I was looking for a server, I wouldn't buy a server from you based on the last response.

Why do hosting companies always try to start arguments?
Are you saying I am trying to start an argument, or him? Cause I'm not trying to argue with anyone :p

I make an objective opinion based on the facts provided. If someone is scared to admit their reseller, and hides information they shouldn't be trusted.

I view it more as asking for more transparency so that customers know what they are getting.

Arguments?

Why is it secret information to know who's actually providing the servers. Customers deserve to know what they are buying.

Anyone reading this thread is a potential customer.

Looks to me like you're avoiding disclosing your providers for one of these 2 reasons:
  • You're just a reseller and are scared of the buyer finding out the same promotion or deals as you.
  • You have a shitty provider and don't want to disclose it.
That's what I think and that's what most other knowledgeable people on this forum will think.
I'm still surprised that you haven't disclosed anything as it makes you look sketchier each minute.

If you're so concerned, Vastitude. (If you don't believe me, I can confirm.)
I provide special things though, making it better to buy from me :p

Cool for disclosing. So you're making no profit and you're earning money from referrals? That's actually a pretty smart way of doing business. Better than what most people on this forum do.

Props to you for that but just be a little more open next time.

Instead of Blatantly saying you're getting the servers from Vastitude, you could say that the server will be hosted at ColoCrossing. This way you're not disclosing the deal but you're still providing enough information to the clients.
