You can get a dedicated server off hetzner with core i7 6700k and 2x 512gb nvme ssd with 64gb ddr4 ram for 34 euros a month! However there is a setup fee!

Well the i7-6700 isn't overclockable by intels terms and runs at a base frequency of 3.4GHZ with a Max turbo of 4.00GHZ, but the i7-6700k runs at a base frequency of 4.00 GHZ with a max turbo of 4.2GHZ however it is overclockable and can go higher. so the difference between the base frequency is 600HZ and that is a lot. so yes there is a big difference

It really isn’t, your claims would be in an ideal situation where the CPU isn’t being bottlenecked by anything else (which will never happen). Clock speed isn’t the only factor to consider in terms of CPU performance.
