Do you use MCM as a primary income source?

I am asking this, since personally I feel that MCM isn't the best way to go around making an income. I think that it is good to build a portfolio and such, but it really a place to money.

Nobody gets paid enough for their time here, if it takes you 3 days to build a website then sell it exclusively for $20, then what is the actual point? For example, you can sell a website here for $30 exclusively, and if you sold it locally, you could probably get $300-$700.

Additionally I am on here, so I can buy, primarily (Although, I do sell resources and other small things to get rid of them). Lastly I would like to add that MCM is a good place to learn the basics of business and trading, it gives an essence of the fundamentals of it.

It depends on age. If you’re young and can do services it might be a temporary primary source, unless you’re like 18+ I would say it’s not primary as you can get a job at a fast food place and make more...

I just use it as a form of advertising, learn about competition, advertising, what's good and what's not, struggling to make money at the minute thought :p

While McM is not my primary source of income, it has introduced me to multiple ways to make money without leaving the comfort of my chair, and has indirectly helped me make more than I do on the platform itself.

Having been working in this field and section since I was about 13, there's lots of mistakes to be made and in return, there's opportunity to be had that opens doors to $$$.

As a current student-athlete (meme me all you want), I was only able to work weekends which was about 15 hours per week. I was fortunate enough to find partners and projects that would pay anywhere from $100-$200/week which initially allowed to me to quit my IRL job, however I never did that, since my IRL job has incredible benefits that I can't give up right now.

It was much easier to accumulate income when things were more "simple" in Minecraft and the community as a whole. Before everybody had done everything, there was a lot of money to be made. I really wouldn't waste my time on MC-M looking to make full-time income if I were an actual independent adult. But if you're in high school or college, have a talent or interest in something, then this place is great for providing services.

Most people on here will bluff and flex so hard for no real reason. Those people aren't the ones you want to look up to. I'm not going to name names here, but there's one user in particular who marketed himself as a crazy genius business man, who was like 18 at the time. He'd constantly brag about two OG accounts he had and how much money he had. Didn't last long when he accidentally displayed his license plate which I search up and found out that his car wasn't worth as much as he said (he bought an old used car), and when he tried to launch a server he claimed would be successful, there was a grand total of 0 active players.

tl;dr - As a young student it's great. If you're an independent adult with technical skills, do not waste your time.

I and other people I know have had good projects come from here. Granted that they are very rare but some people on this site do pay 4 figures for a website.

I work a part time job and don't really sell much on MCM. I just enjoy taking a look at what people are offering.
