So, how did this suggestion start?
I was in shoutbox and people were mentioning how MCM enforces their TOS like it's a holy rule book but then ignore and PROMOTE breaking other site's TOS'.

Then all the staff were like aaaaaaaaaa wtf are you doing in sb, make a suggestion so yeah this is how it started.

Discord promotion? Discord has never punished anyone for selling discords or discord ads. While it is techinically "breaking tos", it's never enforced.

The way some people decide to advertise servers is strictly against TOS (Invite rewards, spam bots, self bots, dm bots, etc...). Obviously the meaning of the section advertised as "Discord Promotions" should just be more heavily enforced to advertisements based off giveaways/in-server announcements instead of all the other things that would get your discord server/account terminated if reported.

The way you said they violate TOS is extremely vague, atleast an explanation on how and what breaks TOS would be nice.
he assumed this is pretty basic knowledge but ill explain them anyway ( i have no life). i honestly dont have an opinion on this because even though i want this to happen, i make all my money off breaking these companies tos.

im disincluding server lists + discord as i dont know enough

Currency Conversion- violates paypal TOS because they do not allow conversions into other apps e.g. bitcoin. thats why most people dont leave a note saying like 'btc transaction' and pretty sure this applies to ca and venmo
OP forgot loans section- Paypal and most other apps (apart from btc but nobody uses) dont allow using their apps as a form of loaning somebody.

Twitter- cant resale accs like bottom 4 aswell
Instagram
Snapchat
YouTube
Email- depends but majority are - gmail (not allowed to distribute accs) mail.com (not allowed) outlook (Nope) but idk abt proton.

VIDEOGAME ITEMS:
Fortnite - not allowed to resale, violates epic game tos
Hypixel Skyblock- violates hypixel tos justis made another thread on suggestions abt this

Gift Codes & Licenses (Most Violate TOS')- i mean licenses is a definite nono for some, not sure about many of them. majority are violating tos however i guess it doesnt have to be entirely removed.

Minecraft Accounts: all of these violates mojang tos of not allowing to distribute copies of their game, especially for profit.
OG Accounts
Semi-OG Accounts
Cape Accounts
Rank Accounts (1+ TOS Violations)
Private Accounts

I would like to personally say however that this issue is just a highlight to MCM's paradox (lol?) to either remove their tos or remove 16 sections. it doesn't take a genius to realise that 80% of the traffic that comes to this website is genuinely for these sections, giving the site nothing to live on other than art or plugins. and it isn't an issue for most players, we have other options to migrate to, so we end up not caring, but having to adjust to a new website instead. i would go on and on for hours abt this argument however most of the main points have been listed on lotuses controversial 'remove the sale of mc accounts' which is still semi alive today, half way through the thread the argument for removing all sections is bought up if y'all interested.
If you remove these subforums you are going to halve your active userbase
1/2 the playerbase is an extremely generous statement for removing literally the main sections lmao

If the site implemented this hella people would have no purpose being here which I think Mick understands you cannot just alienate most of your userbase

I think we should agree that MCM Staff should stop making threads about removing specific sections due to "TOS Breach" when 16 subforums do, and if they remove them to do them all or - the easier option - shut up about it and lets forget about it completely

If MCM starts enforcing external site's ToS's, that means they will also have to make sure that PayPal Family and Friends isn't being used incorrectly and will also have to make sure that only people who are 18+ are using PayPal! I'm sure there a lot of other things like this in ToS's as well that can be thought of.

If MCM wants to do the job of other sites for them, sure, but it'll be a ton of work and a lot of things removed, basically turning the site from an all-in-one minecraft marketplace into a less appealing version of Spigot.
