They are of no use, and often users use these threads to post farm. Not sure why they are even kept or still needed once the user has been banned. This will also somewhat help staff with spammers, if a spammer gets banned, then all their posts/threads will automatically be deleted and staff won’t have to manually do this.

What about having them accessible but not shown when browsing the forum? So user posts, searches, it comes up. Just not regular thread lists.

That’s more what I was getting at, having them hidden, until it’s searched for, I probably didn’t word it right but that’s more what I meant.

If a user is banned from the forum it's pretty clear that you should never deal with them. Threads created by banned members (such as in general discussion) can still have merit to keep public.

Whenever a new thread is made or is bumped, the threads posted by banned members will naturally sink down through the forums pages into obscurity, and I think that's the best way to keep it happening.
