4.2GHz - 5GHz? What does that even mean? Besides, 1GB/3€ is kinda expensive compared to the other hosting companies in the market, some use way better hardware and sell for cheaper so I'm not sure why people would pick your company, other then the fact that your staff members have ''more than 5 years of experience in servers". Not to mention '1TBps DDos protection' ?, I'm pretty sure your using SYS nodes. Sorry for the trash talk, just wanted to clear some stuff up.

Probably turbo boost, but im sure that its the range of their CPU's from OVH, stock verison with 4.2GHz and overclocked one with 5GHz.
You are clearly retarded if only thing you are watching is $$/1GB Ram

4.2 - 5 GHz means he has multiple machines and they vary from 4.2 to 5 GHz. When you order a server, you get placed on a random machine.

Makes sense. Cheers for explaining it.

Firstly, there is no need to call me retarded. Secondly, most hosts around this market sell for below $2/GB, and I wasn't just exactly watching $1/GB hosts, it's whats most common nowadays.

Do most hosts around the market also offer that good of DDoS protection? No, they do not. I see this as an MCProHost kind of host, where they give high-quality stuff. You get what you pay for ;)

All our nodes are under OVH so the DDoS protection is more than obvious. The price is adjusted to our characteristics since we do not only offer excellent quality we also give a great support to all our clients. Thanks to our extensive experience in minecraft servers, we can advise and help bring our clients' servers to the top. There are many hosting that offer lower prices if ... but I can assure you that your support and your knowledge are very low. In general, most do not pay the taxes they demand in Europe. :p

OVH Game Firewall is really best for the price, something like stormwall is really expensvie comapred to OVH Game.

I don't think you have so much more knowledge than the other hosts, mate.

Your thread states that the node is using DDR3-1333 RAM, and unless you're running the i7-4790k servers (which would be fake/false advertising), the i7 6700K servers should be running DDR4 RAM. :p

You are right. It's my mistake, I'll correct it immediately, thanks.

With some luck the VAC the attack is mitigated on has 170Gbps free, where do you get the crazy number of 1TBps?

Also why do you lie about clockspeed? You can be lucky if one core boosts to 4.2GHz at all, your all core clockspeed is probably around 4.0GHz but not 5.0.

But you are a registered company?

They might have the higher 960Gbps Protection on OVH’s Game server range (i7’s)

Also, I’ve had an i7-6700 non-K reach 4.1 GHz on All cores

I really don't know what to say.

Except:

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
If the thread is in English,
the Website should be too.

If you have doubts about the DDoS capacity you can consult: https://www.ovh.es/anti-ddos/ and I'm not lying, look at the website and you can check that you do not have plans with 5GHz yet. This will be offered soon but we still do not have it.

Yeah, SoYouStart had this mistake. I informed about that a week ago and still haven't changed. That probably fooled you a bit :)

On a side-note, If you are using SoYouStart. I don't think they updated it but they show 160Gbps DDoS Protection here.

If you are using Directly OVH then that's fine, anyways GLWS!
