4 years is FAR from senior.
You don't need this to be called a senior developer.
Usually after ~10-15 years of professional experience, you can call yourself senior.
all of you need to stop arguing over semantics and acting like smartasses. you're acting like you're all so much better than him.
you don't need a CS degree, but being able to code something and actually understanding the science behind it are 2 totally different things. a CS degree is invaluable.
It's false advertising if you're calling yourself a "senior developer" when you're not even close. That's why it bugs me.
A lot of people here call themselves software developers when they really aren't. Most "system administrators" here are not system administrators. They drag and drop plugins and edit config files. That isn't system administration. That's called being the end user.
Everyone here is a kid. Kids like to make themselves feel important. Get used to it.
