Server version support does not equate to reliability, performance and accuracy.

I'd much rather have an Anti-Cheat that supports 2 versions, but significantly better in most/all areas than an Anti-Cheat that supports a multitude of versions that is more unstable.

As much as I enjoy talking to Vagdedes (Spartan Developer), his Anti-Cheat whether you want to admit it or not supports almost all versions quite well, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily good in detecting many things aside from the really blatant. Though by your logic, that means Spartan is the best Anti-Cheat in the market. While that's true to an extent (He has unmatched support, great cross server version compatibility and while detection isn't the greatest, it does pick up the blatant stuff quite well).

Now you may try to contradict my statement saying "WELL X CLIENT DEVELOPER BYPASSED IT". That's stupid. Judging an Anti-Cheat based off a private client that maybe no more than 2-3 people use at most does not equate to how an Anti-Cheat performs.

Now if it's a fairly known client with a good sized user base then there's room to argue.

Personal preference. Every server has different needs. Some Anti-Cheats perform better than others.

Cool, but who asked on an Anti-Cheat that isn't related to Verus? They're advertising stable 1.7-1.8.9 spigot support with client support up to 1.16 (Reference their FAQ).
